Endless use applications
Many light switches are wired with no neutral present, which makes them difficult to automate. Shelly 1L can convert any existing wall switch into a smart switch. You don’t need to change the wiring, run new cables, or anything else - just put it behind an existing wall switch. There is no limit to the type of lights you can use with Shelly1L – LED, CFL, Incandescent, Halogen, or Luminescent lights can be controlled.
Shelly will set the lights on the porch to automatically switch on around the time you come home from work, and together with a motion sensor, never let you walk in a dark room again. And don’t worry – light switches can still be used manually to suit the needs of everyone in your home.
